Coming back home after a long day fishin'...
In 1990 a friend and I decided to be the outdoors type, and take a semi-wilderness canoe trip through the BWCA.

I mean, how hard could it be?

I'll admit, it's a challenge. But it's worth it. There was a time we didn't see another human for 3 days. The peace and quiet was awesome. Carrying everything on your back when you portaged from lake to lake sucked. But there you are.

I won't mention that we dumped the canoe once, but at least it's one of those things I can cross off my list of things to do.
